Mr. Blackwell is Assistant Vice Chancellor and Associate General Counsel for Washington University. He advises the University on a wide variety of corporate matters including real estate, construction, finance, bankruptcy law, tax, corporate governance and general contracts.
Mr. Blackwell is a graduate of St. Louis University and Duke University School of Law. Prior to joining the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and General Counsel in 1993, Mr. Blackwell practiced law with Bryan Cave LLP where he specialized in banking and real estate. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
