Nancy Pliske is Assistant Vice Chancellor and Associate General Counsel at Washington University. Prior to working for Washington University Ms. Pliske worked for eight years as a registered nurse. After graduating from law school Ms. Pliske joined Washington University's Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and General Counsel where she has worked on a variety of research and healthcare matters. She specializes in research and administrative conflicts of interest, research integrity matters, human studies/IRB issues, research regulatory compliance, corporate compliance, physician billing, Medicare reimbursement matters and general research compliance matters including effort reporting, grants compliance and export controls.
Ms. Pliske received her A.S.N. in nursing from Northern Virginia Community College and her B.A. from St. Louis University. She received her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.
Ms. Pliske is a member of the Missouri Bar and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
