Joe Sklansky is Assistant Vice Chancellor and Associate General Counsel for Washington University. He advises the University on employment and labor, litigation management, discrimination / harassment, faculty rights, and tenure. Mr. Sklansky received his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Sklansky served as a law clerk to The Honorable William C. Conner, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Immediately prior to joining the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and General Counsel, Mr. Sklansky was an Associate with the Boston office of Ropes & Gray LLP where he specialized in employment law and litigation.
Mr. Sklansky is a member of the Missouri Bar, the American Bar Association, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
